A Selection Of Recent Jobs 

1) Needs some diagnostic Software to eliminate any Hardware issue on my Mac Mini. Entourage says its damaged and wants me to fix it but it says it cant. Problems Syncing with iphone, it just deleted my address book but i still have it on iphone. there were problems with Firefox where it forgot all the passwords set up on sites and even forgot HomePage.

2) Hi unfortunately today i dropped my friends 13" MacBook and cracked the screen, could you give me a quote on how much it would be for a new screen installed??? Thanks

3) I have put one disk in on top of another into the CD/DVD drive as i forgot one was in, so there is no actual problem except getting the disks out as they are stuck. Also it's my friends laptop which makes this an emergency. thank you.

4) I have an Airport Extreme unit that appears not to be transmitting a signal. Can you check it over for me? If necessary, forward it on to Apple Macintosh for attention. It powers up normally, but none of my three Macs can detect a signal or connect to the internet with it. I shall need your postal address in order to send it to you. An indication of the cost of repair would be useful.

5) My ibook's power supply male connector has snapped off and is stuck inside my mac. Resulting in no charging of the battery hence no use of it at all. Help!!!!

7) Hi, My ipod touch 2nd is not charging. Everytime in try to charge, it does not hold it's charge and does not keep the date and time correct ether. It is around two years old and a new battery might be in order. Thanks.

8) Hello. I switched to Mac about 18 months ago. Shouldn't have left it so late. I just use it for normal domestic purposes - photos, some documents, spreadsheets, itunes, etc. From time to time I have minor software niggles (eg scanning from my Cannon printer, sorting and printing photos, etc). They really are minor niggles but it often takes me ages to try to fix them and sometimes I can't. Is there some sort of support package you offer that would allow me to access help and advice when I need it?

9) i have a mac book, which i recently had problems opening/starting up, i was advised to reload the start up discs, i then had replacement discs sent out by apple, still no joy, can i help please with this issue..... many thanks

10) i poured water on my boyfriends macbook today and everything seems to be working except the sound but i think it still has not dried out completley. can it be fixed if so what price am i looking at and when and how long to do it. i live in bolton. 

11) My Macbook Air has had a hard drive failure which is non-repairable using disk utility. Although purchased in Dec 2008 it is covered under an extended warranty with my credit card company. I have a claim form and have to either provide a quotation for repair which include the total and the breakdown of parts and labour or to confirm that is unrepairable. Can you either supply a quote for the repair including replacement of the hard drive with an "equivalent" drive or confirm that repair is not a viable option. If you can repair and they agree it is a viable option other than replacement then of course I will bring the machine to you for the repair. If you can supply asap this will allow me to submit the paperwork and begin the insurance process. 12) We have a macbook and air and we cannot get either one to connect correctly to out new Epson Printer. It is supposed to be wireless and it's not connecting. We're not sure if the problem is with the printer itself or the computers. Is this something you can assist us with - or should we be looking for a printer specialist?
